Befrienders.

Have you ever tried the Befrienders service? I have. They are free but the service is horrendous. I wanted someone to guide me through my crisis but all I got was a bored operator-like persona who keeps asking me ' what do you think you want to do ?'. Annoying right ? Well title aside, this post has nothing to do with the Befrienders.

I actually did something stupid today. I made a pact with a brother, friend actually to do something and I told someone else when I promised I wouldn;t . The guy I told was my ex scandal or whatever you can call it. End result is both of them fighting and no one is picking my call. I know it sounds stupid. It is such a silly problem but Im plagued by it. I do not want to lose a brother and yet I do not want to lose my chance over my soulmate either. I created the problem, anyone knows how I can fix it ? Ive been told to chill for a few days. I will do it but it is killing me. Help me !

p/s : I asked this famous dr.Love who correctly predicts my pursuits and he said I might get this friend back but not my lover. OH ! Its all my fault and I am sorry..

Vegetarian .

I had dinner at this Vegetarian restaurant next to Klinik Bukit Beruang near my place. It seems to be managed by an affiliate of a Buddhist association . The food was superb and tasted extremely close to the real thing except for the chicken curry. We had butter prawns, Butter Mushrooms, and chicken curry with rice. Everything was nice both taste wise and price wise at RM 30ish for 4and MMU students are encouraged to go. ;)) Thanks Lynn and Arif and Mega for the dinner. ;)) .

My saving grace.

I was Barbie for Halloween, so for this Xmas I wanted to be something dramatic and found out the theme for this holiday was all about glittery magic and mischief. I think the best way to achieve that is via makeup, and I have none to match. But I don't want to spend on new year's makeup either. I need something flexible.

After surveying on the net, I found something so unheard of yet so amazing ! Its called KRYOLAN and apparently this makeup is the OFFICIAL MAKEUP FOR MISS UNIVERSE 2009! Oh, if it is good enough for the beauty queens.There are many reviews only regarding this product where apparently it is the favourite among makeup artists as it can create illusions of a perfect skin and the color palates are amazing for creating all kinds of makeups, from natural to glam to gothic punk. Here are some looks by Kryolan that I find amazing and wanted to use for the holiday and/or the new year ;

Girls are familiar with pain everytime we pluck our eyebrows right ? Well now we do not need to compromise as the Kryolan Eyebrow Plastic is here ! Here's what the website rave about it :
KRYOLAN Eybrow Plastic - RM49 (18g)

Shaving off eyebrows ends up in a mess as they grow back in. Often, the hairs grow back in odd directions or thicker in portions of the brow where that had not been the case before. And if you dont like to trim or shave your eyebrows, you cover your eyebrows with this stuff, it is like a sealer for your eyebrow.

How to use it?

Using a spatula scrape of a small ball of eyebrow plastic from the stick. Warm between your fingers to make it easier to spread on top of eyebrows. Using the metal spatula apply it on top of brow. The eyebrow plastic should completely cover the hair. You shouldn't see any hairs coming through the eyebrow plastic. Make sure that your eyebrow plastic is as smooth as possible. You can use Vaseline to help smooth the plastic down.

Once the brow is completely smooth, powder with a powder puff or brush with no color powder. If the brow color underneath is black you may need to apply an orange concealer 508, 303, mand to conceal the brow like you conceal your eye bag. Then apply foundation that same color with your skin tone.

Lastly powder very well with powder puff or brush again. Dab the powder into the foundation to set it. You can then start drawing your desired eyerbrow shape as below.

Seems so easy right ? Well this product won me over. However, there is one obstacle, where can I get these babies in Malaysia ? I surfed some more and found Kryolan IN Malaysia, a website that carries Kryolan in Malaysia. They are very consumer friendly and willing to answe every comment and question thrown in. They are also having a contest where you get to win a foundation by Kryolan worth rm 53. All you have to do is;

1. Follow them at Kryolan In Malaysia
2. Blog about the product !

This is good as we can try this product for free which I intend to do. Goodluck Girls ! and err guys if any ;)))

Blah !

Im so annoyed at the current facilities at MMU Law Library. Considering the money they bleed from us, we expect at least decent facilities. Well, I am now at the library trying my bloodiest to do my Probate Assignment. I cannot find any books, because for each subject we only have about 10 different reference books and we have to share these books so if one person is using, chances of others are verry slim indeed. Then come the computers, with only 5, majority with no proper Microsoft Word, and the condition is saddening, how am I supposed to do my work ? I cannot even paste the sources on my email ! I might as well just stay in bed and use my bloody broadband. My Dad provide me better services and I dont even bloody have to pay him ! MMU is cheating law students, seriously. We all have to pay the same amount of IT and Library Fees, and yet our facilities are sadly lacking. Books stay the same amount, so does computers and yet Law students increased yearly. How are we to cope ? Even our SRC cannot do anything about it ! I wish someone will have the guts to bring the press to our library to highlight our sad situation to the nation. Do not send your children to MMU ok?? Easy passing is rubbish ! MMU Law Students work hard, even more than UITM Law students.I have compared the paper.

Stay Healthy, the Barbie Way.

Barbie will soon turn 50 on the 9th of March. To mark the birthday of the iconic doll, a researcher takes a sneak in to what the doll might have to do in-order to maintain her hour-glass figure.

The doll stands 11 inches tall and has more careers than most people might have clothes. Barbie is branded as a poster child for what you might look like if you took good care of yourself by Cindy Haines, M.D., a family doctor and clinical assistant professor of family and community medicine at Saint Louis University.

"While Barbie probably has been blessed with good genes, she has obviously paid attention to her health and focused ahead to do what she can to prevent health problems. You can tell that she's an excellent patient and puts a health at the top of her priority list," Haines said.

"Having been a tennis player, aerobics instructor, equestrian, lifeguard, ballet dancer, and gymnast, Barbie loves to exercise and has washboard abs and a tiny waist to prove it. She knows that regular, weight bearing activity is one of the best things you can do to keep your bones strong and stave off osteoporosis," the expert added

She probably loves the Mediterranean diet, which is rich in fruits and vegetables that contain a high ratio of antioxidants.
"Barbie's been a McDonald's cashier, candy saleswoman and a soda fountain waitress, but likely rejects most food sold on the job", Haines said.

"She probably loves the Mediterranean diet, which is rich in fruits and vegetables that contain a high ratio of antioxidants to combat aging. Because she watches what she eats and exercises, her cholesterol levels likely are on target, and she probably doesn't have to take medication," the expert said.

She goes on to say that Barbie might enjoy a cocktail sometimes, but she never smokes. "You can tell because her skin is nice and firm, she has long luxurious hair and bright, white teeth. And on the inside, I suspect her heart is strong, her arteries plaque-free and her lungs are clear," she said.

Though the beautiful doll never married to have kids, she always surrounds herself with loved ones. "Numerous studies show that staying socially connected and living up to your potential can help ward off dementia, so Barbie is doing what she can to stay mentally healthy," Haines said.

However, Haines says that Barbie might have got a slight plastic surgery or a cosmetic job done to defy gravity and look her best. "She may have had some fillers. There are definitely things you can do to make slight tweaks in your appearance," she said.

Eat Less Rice. Taken from the Malaysian Babes Forum

Eat Less Rice? Why?

The human body was never meant to consume rice! You see, our genes have hardly changed in more than 30,000 years. However, our food choices and lifestyle have changed dramatically. The caveman would hardly recognise our food or way of life.

Caveman food was never cooked as fire was not yet tamed. Thus, he ate only those foods that you can eat without treatment with or by fire. He ate fruits, vegetables, fish (sushi anyone?), eggs, nuts and meat. Yes, even meat! You can even eat meat raw if you were starving in the forest. You have the necessary enzymes to digest meat.

However, rice, like wheat and corn, cannot be eaten raw. It must be cooked. Even if you were starving in the desert, you cannot eat rice in the raw form. This is because we do not have the system of enzymes to break rice down. You were never meant to eat rice. To make matters worse, you not only eat rice, but also make it the bulk of your food.

In some parts of Asia , rice forms up to 85% of the plate. Even if you take rice, keep it to a minimum. Remember, it is only for your tongue - not your body. Actually, rice and other grains like wheat and corn are actually worse than sugar. There are many reasons:

Rice becomes sugar- Lots of it!
This is a fact that no nutritionist can deny: rice is chemically no different from sugar. One bowl of cooked rice is the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. This does not matter whether it is white, brown or herbal rice. Brown rice is richer in fibre, some B vitamins and minerals but it is still the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. To get the same 10 teaspoons of sugar, you need to consume lots of kangkong-10 bowls of it.

Rice is digested to become sugar.
Rice cannot be digested before it is thoroughly cooked. However, when thoroughly cooked, it becomes sugar and spikes circulating blood sugar within half an hour-almost as quickly as it would if you took a sugar candy. Rice is very low in the 'rainbow of anti-oxidants.

This complete anti-oxidant rainbow is necessary for the effective and safe utilisation of sugar.. Fruits come with a sugar called fructose. However, they are not empty calories as the fruit is packed with a whole host of other nutrients that help its proper assimilation and digestion.

Rice has no fibre.
The fibre of the kangkong fills you up long before your blood sugar spikes. This is because the fibre bulks and fills up your stomach. Since white rice has no fibre, you end up eating lots of 'calorie dense' food before you get filled up. Brown rice has more fibre but still the same amount of sugar.

Rice is tasteless-sugar is sweet.
There is only so much that you can eat at one sitting. How many teaspoons of sugar can you eat before you feel like throwing up? Could you imagine eating 10 teaspoons of sugar in one seating?

Rice is always the main part of the meal.
While sugar may fill your dessert or sweeten your coffee, it will never be the main part of any meal. You could eat maybe two to three teaspoons of sugar at one meal. However, you could easily eat the equal value of two to three bowls (20-30 teaspoons) of sugar in one meal. I am always amused when I see someone eat sometimes five bowls of rice (equals 50 teaspoons of sugar) and then asks for tea tarik kurang manis!

There is no real 'built in' mechanism for us to prevent overeating of rice:
How much kangkong can you eat?
How much fried chicken can you eat?
How much steamed fish can you eat?
Think about that!

In one seating, you cannot take lots of chicken, fish or cucumber, but you can take lots of rice. Eating rice causes you to eat more salt. As rice is tasteless, you tend to consume more salt-another villain when it comes to high blood pressure. You tend to take more curry that has salt to help flavor rice. We also tend to consume more ketchup and soy sauce which are also rich in salt.

Eating rice causes you to drink less water.
The more rice you eat, the less water you will drink as there is no mechanism to prevent the overeating of rice. Rice, wheat and corn come hidden in our daily food. As rice is tasteless, it tends to end up in other foods that substitute rice like rice flour, noodles and bread. We tend to eat the hidden forms which still get digested into sugar.

Rice, even when cooked, is difficult to digest...
Can't eat raw rice? Try eating rice half cooked. Contrary to popular belief, rice is very difficult to digest. It is 'heavy stuff'. If you have problems with digestion, try skipping
Rice prevents the absorption of several vitamins and minerals.
Rice when taken in bulk will reduce the absorption of vital nutrients like zinc, iron and the B vitamins.

Are you a rice addict? Going rice-less may not be easy but you can go rice-less. Eating less rice could be lot easier than you think. Here are some strategies that you can pursue in your quest to eat less rice:

Eat less rice-cut your rice by half.
Barry Sears, author of the Zone Diet, advises 'eating rice like spice'. Instead, increase your fruits and vegetables. Take more lean meats and fish. You can even take more eggs and nuts.

Have 'riceless' meals.
Take no rice or wheat at say, breakfast. Go for eggs instead.

Go on 'riceless' days.
Go 'western' once a week for example or whatever that you feel like eating, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Malay or whatsoever, just don't take the rice.

Take no rice and breads for one day every week.
That can't be too difficult. Appreciate the richness of your food. Go for taste, colours and smells. Make eating a culinary delight. Enjoy your food in the original flavours.

Avoid the salt shaker or ketchup.
You will automatically eat less rice.

Eat your fruit dessert before (Yes! No printing error) your meals.
The fibre rich fruits will 'bulk up' in your stomach. Thus, you will eat less rice and more fruits. And most importantly, your digestive system will digest the Fruits 1st, and absorb the Good stuff before your main course.

It's your life. Decide what you want to eat! But eat less rice!

Who would have thought that you could hurt me
The way you've done it
So deliberate, so determined

Since you have been gone
I bite my nails for days and hours
And question my own questions on and on

Tell me now, tell me now
Why you're so far away
When I'm still so close

You don't even know the meaning of the words I'm
sorry
You said you would love me until you die
As far as I know you're still alive
Baby
You don't even know the meaning of the words I'm
sorry
I'm starting to believe it should be illigal to
deceive a woman's heart

I tried so hard to be attentive
To all you wanted always supportive always patient
What did I do wrong?
I'm wondering for days and hours
it's here, it isn't here where you belong

Anyhow, Anyhow
I wish you both all the best
I hope you get along

You don't even know the meaning of the words I'm
sorry
You said you would love me until you die
As far as I know you're still alive
Baby
You don't even know the meaning of the words I'm
sorry
I'm starting to believe it should be illEgal to
deceive a woman's heart

Usana Experiments.

I have this extremely sensitive entry which I was inspired to write from today's lecture but since I lack the mind-power, I will update later.Hehe..

I want to share with you guys some of my experiments with Usana Nutrimeal. As you know, plain protein shake by itself is boring, and although Usana Nutrimeal is not that bad compared to other shakes, I really want to motivate myself so I will not think drinking shakes is a routine that must be done every other day. So here are some of my experiments ;

1. Usana Nutrimeal ( French Vanilla coz I hate chocolate) with Sunquick or Twister Orange. One scoop of Usana, and Sunquick or Twister as much as you want, shake shake shake..n voila. Verdict : Yummy !

2. Usana Nutrimeal with air sirap ! Yes ! One scoop, with ready made 300ml air sirap. This was done when I ran out of everything except my atok's (grandma) air sirap !. Verdict: Surpisingly sedap ! Nice !

3. Usana Nutrimeal with Soyfresh soya milk in cappucino, strawberry, and plain. Verdict: Marvelous, creamy, yummy !!! ;)) THE BEST EVER !

4.Usana Nutrimeal with Organic Soya. Verdict: creamy, but lack the creaminess and yumminess of Soyfresh.I drink this everyday.

5.Usana Nutrimeal with guava juice. Verdict: Urghh...I hate the taste ! Weird !

Oh, there is an Usana Healthy Eating Blog and I have asked the moderator to include eating plans and recipes. Happy trying and happy browsing Usana-ians !

The Heart That Smiles.

Real Life Stories
Confessions of A Brother :
By Someone's Brother

They say children are curious beings and that they would ask the most random questions out of their curiosity. Well, I still remember some of my friends asking me about my brother. They would be like “eh, what’s wrong with your brother? How come his lips are like that?” or “eh, how come your brother’s lips got lubang one?”

And me, being a small kid and not knowing better, I would tell them white lies such as “oh, when he was born, doctor accidentally pulled his lips too hard so terkoyak,” or “doctor tu tak bagus. Dia tak pandai nak lahirkan baby.” It even went to the extent that I would somehow manage to convince my friends that some doctors are evil because they don’t know how to deliver a child properly. And for 7 or 8 year olds, those sorts of answer were acceptable as we were still young and naïve.

But as I grow older, I began to understand why my brother’s lips were “koyak” and why sometimes food and fluids would come out from his nose. I realised that the condition of his lip and palate are actually because of a medical condition, and not because of some third rate doctor whom doesn’t know how to deliver babies properly. And having realised this, I took it upon myself to take better care of my brother and inform others properly. No more “doctors koyakkan my bro’s lips and unqualified doctors” stories anymore. And I am no longer afraid of sharing the world about cleft because I know that everyone was born with a heart that smiles. In fact, I believe that individuals born with cleft are more cheerful in life than others because they get to share their smile specially to the world.

Giving Kharyna the Best

By Kassim & Liza, Parents to Kharyna

Upon Kharyna’s birth two years ago, we were shocked at first. We had little idea about cleft and had to immediately trawl through the Internet for information, to find out about cleft lip and palate, specifically about what to do post-birth and the process of getting treatment.

We first went to a government hospital but found out that we had to wait six months for our first appointment. Then, a friend recommended for us to go to a private hospital. The doctor we met there suggested immediate surgery. After the first operation, within a week, the wound broke down, causing a puncture in Kharyna’s nose and on her upper lip. This made consumption of food and liquid extremely difficult as liquid would spill out from the holes in the wound.

Following that, we made many trips back and forth to hospitals to follow up and change the wound every day. After about six to eight months, the doctor conducted the second surgery in February 2009.

The biggest challenge for us parents has been to try give to her the best medical attention possible, getting her to be treated by the best doctors and hopefully improve her condition.

Kharyna is now two. My biggest worry remains that society has a tendency of looking down on children with cleft. We will continue to try give her the best treatment possible. CLAPAM has been very helpful as they offer plenty of resources. We would recommend parents who have children with cleft to register with CLAPAM as in addition to resources for parents, they also offer activities for kids.

Nur Nadiah Ramli
Thats right, me. I was born with a dental problem. It was not noticeable at first until my upper front teeth was moving until it got real bad when I was 10 at 10mm gap with my lower front teeth. All my classmates teased me and called me 'jongang' and I remembered my early years filled with tears at night because of the teasings.I was scarred until today because of this early social experience. To add salt to the wound, I was dark, fat and homely. Finally the day came when my parents took me to an orthodontist, Dr. Nora in Subang. I went through several scans and she told us my case was special, in which my upper front teeth will keep moving until I had to go for surgery without braces. When I was 11, I had my braces and after all the years of painful treatments and teasings, I am now how you guys see me. Not a beauty but at least I am normal. The whole braces procedure cost us RM 7000. Not inclusive of treatments and such.

So you see, I was lucky because my parents are able to afford such an amount of money. Maybe they scrimp and save, but they managed to raise that much. Some people are not so lucky. To hide such great personalities and hearts behind the mask of dental problems is such a heart-wrenching fate. I know a beautiful heart shines through it all, but we all know people have a cruel way of looking at everything in face value and when we have the power to make a cleft lip born person smile in such a beautiful way, will we deny them the smile that we will look at and be proud to have a hand in creating it ? Think about it. I will not wish what I experienced on my worst enemy.

Broadband.

Today Boy ( elle's bf cum our new hangout buddy hahahaha !) took me ( with Wiena in tow) to Celcom at Melaka Raya to change my broken simcard. When we reached there, the reception(??) told us that because I am not the owner of the account, I must bring owner's IC and Letter of Consent before they can pass me the simcard. Oh, and it is their policy. So I had to frantically called my Dad , who is grumpy because he was in a meeting to fax his IC and consent letter to Celcom. 5 minutes down the line, I was waiting at the counter for my card to be replaced. The girl over the counter told me to wait as she needs to call my Dad. Wow, their policy is really strict ! Logically, if I am stealing the card, I would not have the guts to go to Celcom to replace my sim and stay there when told of the policy. Celcom should be more lenient, IMHO. They can always block the card if it went missing right ? Besides, when I called their Customer Service who told me to go there, there was no mention of bringing owner;s IC and such. They are aware I am not the owner, they checked my account. Hmmphh ~!

On another note, did you know that the best source of Vitamin D is directly from the sun ? 20 minutes of minimum exposure is all it takes. Even with supplements and food, you will prolly get 10 % at most. However only minimum exposure, not maximum suntan effect.Go outdoor !Please do note that even the weakest sunblock and indoor glasses etc can disturb the skin's process to absorb the Vit. D. So, go out once in a while without sunblock in the morning or when it is about to rain and soak in the much needed Vit. D ! Source taken from Goop.com thank you Gwyneth for linking her doctor's website !!

A lot of people thinks soulmates should be the themselves in another person. I beg to differ. I think soulmates are our other half who completes us,make us feel whole. In example, if we are boring, our soulmate might be someone fun and reckless, and by discovering her or him, we rediscover that being fun and reckless is amazing ! In turn, we keep them grounded.;)

Why am I talking about soulmates when Im supposed to be studying ? I found mine and miss him. I do not know if it is working out or will do in the future but as for now he is not mine. He completes me and makes me feel whole. He caused me pain but he inspires me through it and caused me happiness too. He make me rediscover life and views. He cannot be summarized in one post though.;)

Have you found yours ? Picture Googled.

The Bitch in the Heat.

Ok this lady deserved the bitch title. In fact, she deserved even worse. Its so surprising why there are no perverted Malay blogs out to get her. Maybe they are disgusted. WHO IS SHE ?? She is the mother of the 3 year old who was sodomized, raped and abused by the Sudanese bf. The mother covered for her bf by saying daughter was abused by helper which failed when police investigation found no record of helper. Both then confessed to abusing the child. Apparently she is willing to lie to save her boyfriend who had done such beastly act to her daughter. Can you put a word of kindness to her ? I pray she will repent. Anyone with kind words are welcome to share. I just feel like stomping her face, slap it, n then find a serial cruel rapist and set him loose on her.The world is really coming to an end.

Some words of wisdom from readers of MalaysiaToday : Read them. Cannot paste. Verry interesting.

A Helping hand by Wawa.

a helping hand
There was one event during my study at UiTM held for excellent students and students with poor results. After a speech by the college principle, then there is a counseling session followed by a heart heart-wrenching slot. A slide was shown sharing a story of a persevere father who is fighting for himself and his family. At that time the atmosphere became so quiet and I can feel everybody was holding their tears.

Then the benevolent man which we saw on the slide continue his story. And promoted bookmarks for sale to help him with his medical bills.

This is the first time I saw a a very strong person in front of my bare eyes. We always complain when we help others and yet others did not help us in needy times in return. What if our help turn out to be a major turning point of a never ending hardship in our lives? Ever think of that? Well, you should because there are people who went through those kind of test.

For instance, Ahmad Khariri al-Hadi . He touched my heart that night and made my life feel so easy compared to what he had to go through. Today, as I was reading this blog, the feeling of that night came again. Except this time, the feeling is more intense. I mean, he has been suffering from that night up until today? In that article, the daughter of the man asked, "dad, why are you helping people and yet people are not helping you?" Oh, my. what a test.

To say hold on good man would be a stupidest advice as we can see he is bearing and battling with every thing there is until now. With no job and medical bills need to be paid, how can life be easier?

Here is his number 017-6351057 and email khairi_alhadi@yahoo.com.my and his account number MAYBANK, 162106646530. Give him a helping hand generous people!

Facebooking Danger.

I found out yesterday that my pic is published in a perverted Malay website. As owner of the picture ( author is Boy i think ) I never gave any permission, making this a cyber crime. I do not ever want to be associated with the likes of that website. It is so cliched now, people stealing pictures, making assumptions based on pictures when they hardly know the person. What is even worse, they make perverted comments about a girl they do not even know, and the picture is sometimes not slightly provocative. Dirty minds. I am not the only victim, and due to the advice of friends, I do not want to publish the URL although i would really love the website to be condemn. It is because people might gain knowledge on the existence of the website and used it to share pics and degrade others and cause further humiliation to those already there. Please guys, is it so funny to make perverted comments about a picture ? So pleasurable to degrade others ? What if it is your family members ??This also applies to celebrities. Celebs are people too you know.. You cannot tell everything from a picture, trust me. Anyway, lets boycott Malay perverted and degrading websites, shall we ??

Howling at the New Moon

There is something about vampires that makes girls swoon. The porcelain skin, bad boy dangerous image, strikingly good looking and mysteriously rich makes a good combination that attracts the damsel in all of us. The latest installment in the vampire realm, Twilight is no exception. Added with the existence of a good side to vampires, makes Twilight irresistable. After capturing the world by storm with the books collection and the first movie, Twilight is set to make lovebites all around the world with its latest addition, New Moon.

I am obsessed with the Twilight Saga because Edward potrays the knight in shining armor I ( and many other girls) have been dreaming of. Trouble with knights in shining armors is they only exist during medieval time and they wear armors which is honestly not that sexy. When Edward entered my world with his dashingly good looks and modern wear and if that is not enough, a good side to his bad boy exterior ( when most of us girls wanted nothing more than to believe all bad boys have a good side and will love to bring it out) I was over the galaxy. Twilight saga's potrayal of Edward's love for Bella ignites the dream in all of us, making us believe that somewhere, there is an Edward in this world of jerks galore. Although Bella can be indecisive in her decision making, causing real irritations at times, I can totally forgive her because that happens to us sometimes and Edward loves her so she got my vote.

However, the second installment is not exactly my favourite as it is extremely sad, too sad in my opinion and yet i will still watch it because of the ending and it is a Twilight installment. I hope I can hold back the tears when the sad parts are playing !

Im no longer a KLPAC virgin !

Thats right ! I went to KLPAC yesterday to watch Bilik Ahmad Berdaki, a dark themed theatre and I liked it . It was a haunting performance of three stories interconnected, Bilik is about a cruel dysfunctional family killing people for sport, Ahmad is about a group of gays and jealousy and sex and berdaki is a family of cannibals. Told ya it was haunting. The actors were flown from Singapore and despite the dark humor, everyone loved the show. KLPAC is very chic and avant garde, interior wise. Will definitely come again now that I have lost my virginity haha!Thw show is also performed in Hokkien and Malay !

Misconceptions about MY religion.

I am Muslim. Recently, there has been a LOT of propagandas and misconceptions about MY religion.They are;
1.ISLAM promotes TERRORISM. All Muslims are TERRORISTS.
The truth : Islam promotes peace.Shariah law forbides killing women, children, elders, prisoners of war, destroying places of worships long before Geneva Conventions. However, as most muslims are now the minorities in countries like Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar and the Middle East were oppresions from the west and its allies happens, they become terrorists to protect their rights and for the world to hear them. Sadly, this is used by anti-Muslims to potray Muslims as terrorists. Put yourself in their shoes, if you are oppressed daily, will you not retaliate ??

2.Islam DEGRADES WOMEN.
The truth : Islam places women on high pedestals. Women are required to cover up to stop us from being used by men to fill their lusts. While some men are sane enough to accept a woman's attraction as God's creation, others used it against women by raping them, and subjecting them to sex objects and nothing more. A woman is more than that, their beauty is of high status. In dividing property, a woman gets less, but hers is solely hers. A man gets more but his portion is subject to parts for his wife, children, parents and such. A woman is not required to work, but she is not forbidden to do so. In short, a woman is free to do as she pleases in regard to family economy. We are used to western consumerism, and we see hijab as constraining. But does cosmetics and trends set us free ? We are bound to buy cosmetics and follow trends to be beautiful right ?Islam is against binding consumerism.Islam sets us free.Islam allows poligamy to protect woman in time of war etc, but now that women can stand on their own is poligamy applicable ? Go figure.

3. Islam HATES other RELIGIONS.
The truth : We are bound to be friendly with other religion and not criticise and not judge and NOT destroy places of worship.

4. ISLAM condems learning.
The truth : Prophet Mohammed once said ."Find knowledge even to China" meaning it is obligatory to learn. Late night studying is even better or similar to late night praying. Science is highly appreciated to understand Allah's creation. Forbidden things are allowed in relation to studies .in example handling pigs to learn veterinary.

There are many more misconceptions . May we be clear from all of them.

Conclusion : ISLAM is beautiful but the followers do not understand it well, resulting in bad examples to others.

P/s : Did you know DR. Asri ( my fav. ustaz) was arrested ? Fuck those who did. Ulamas and ulamas fighting. IMHO, Dr. Asri is one of the few Ulamas who understands truly what ISLAM means. God bless his soul.

Beauty Saving.

10 Beauty Tips that are close to free!

Ten budget eco beauty tips:

1. The first thing that comes to mind is of course to eat as much raw food as possible. The more water the food contains the better. A lot of highly paid models switch into raw food mode when they have an important shoot coming up. When I say raw food, I mean raw fruits and vegetables. Some people swear raw eggs give them glowing complexions but personally I would be too afraid of food borne illnesses to even consider that.

2. As you use these raw foods - two stand out in particular. Avocados and Papaya. While you prepare your yummy avocado or papaya dishes DO NOT throw out the peels. Rubbing the insides of either of these two all over your face makes a completely free super effective mask, that when left on for anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes nourishes the face and leaves your skin re-hydrated and smooth. Of course do not forget to rinse off after 15 minutes especially if you are expecting guests! Cost: free!

3. For oily skin and acne an egg white mask is particularly good. It draws out impurities and absorbs oil. Directions: beat an egg white until it is frothy - apply to face - let it dry and set - you will want to lie down - after all you have egg on your face! - leave on for 15 to 20 minutes - rinse with water. Your skin will be tight and balanced. Cost: cents

4. Everybody knows the "old tea bags on the eyes trick". Again you are using something you would otherwise toss out. The tannin in the tea acts as an astringent that helps to shrink puffy tissue. Cost: free

5. Dandruff solution: Dissolve two or three aspirins in a warm glass of water - pour on scalp and let it sit for 5 minutes, then rinse with cool water. The salicylic acid in the aspirin is often an active ingredient in over the counter expensive dandruff remedies. Cost: cents

6. Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps promise on their labels 18 different uses and indeed you can be very creative with these little treasures. They come in several different scented versions, everything from rose to lavender to peppermint. Even somebody who does not like the idea of mixing and combining different ingredients will love these.
All you have to do is dilute, dilute, dilute. For about 3$ you will get a 4 oz bottle that is a little powerhouse. Dilute ½ tablespoon in one cup and you will have an extremely affordable, mild shampoo, hand soap, body wash and shaving soap. The beauty applications are almost endless while at the same time you can use the same product in a stronger dilution to clean floors, pets, dishes, laundry, cars, countertops, baths and toilets!
Dr. Bronner’s only uses 100% recycled bottles, the soaps are 100% fair trade, organic, vegetable based and biodegradable and the company prides itself never to have paid for advertising. It has grown for over 100 years strictly on word of mouth! Cost: about 3$ for 4 oz of concentrate that will produce a gallon of soap.

7. Deodorants are easy to be made at home. You will want to avoid the over the counter ones because they contain aluminum which has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease, and the aluminum free ones do cost a lot of money.
Natural alternatives include using orange or lemon peel - just rub under your arm. You could also use freshly cut slices of lemon or orange, just not right after shaving or if you have sensitive skin. Aloe vera juice is also refreshing and soothes sensitive skin. Just pinch a leaf and use the gel.
A recipe for a spray deodorant would have to include equal parts alcohol - clear vodka works well - water - and a couple of drops of essential oils -pretty much your choice - rose, lavender, citrus comes to mind. Mix, put in a spray bottle - ready. Cost: Depends on the kind of vodka. Lol, no seriously - definitely under five dollars.

8. For a free hand treatment make it a habit every time you cook to use a little oil on the back of your hands. Any oil will work fine, favorites include olive oil and coconut oil.
As you measure and pour the oil into the pan for stir-fry or bowl for salad dressing, simply tap the cap of your oil container on the back of your hands, rub the two backs of your hands together and leave on during cooking. Afterwards you could rinse off the excess oil, but often you will find that the oil has absorbed completely! Cost: free

9. Several fruits make excellent masks not only for your face but also for the hair. You can mash bananas, melons, berries, avocados and mix with a little olive or coconut oil. Apply to hair, wrap head in warm, moist towel and wait half hour, then wash as per usual. Cost: around one dollar, depending on fruit used.

10. Salt Glow: you can bring this spa treatment home by simply mixing two tablespoons sea salt and two tablespoons oil of your choice. Just rub on any part of you skin that needs softening such as elbows, knees or heels. Cost: under one dollar.

Tyson Ritter and Poslaju.

I will start on the good first. Tyson Ritter and the AAR were amazinggg.. Their showmanship was superb and make the crazy crowd, mismanagement and heel on hell worthwhile. It is no exaggeration that he is my sex god. Yum !I will update with pics once I have them ok?Tyson made me orgasmic for hours ! ;)))))

On another note, I was supposed to receive my USANA on friday. I waited till night time, and still did not receive my parcel. I smsed Ary who gave me the tracking ID and I started calling the hotline. Well, apparently one postman got the policy wrong and decided to send it to my house and because I am not there or something, sent me the note whatever. They promised to send the parcel again on Monday without so much of an apology, only stating that the operator is at the HQ, and the parcel is in Melaka.

So today I waited and when I got my parcel, I confronted the postman about my predicament. He meekly replied that he only sent parcels on orders etc and he is not the postman is question and he is sorry. His face is so innocent that I let him go. The situation is so hilarious and annoying that I can only laugh. To be honest, if given a choice I wont use the service, but what else can we do ? I am in Melaka and I need the Nutrimeal. I spent days without passing my motion and i feel sooo horrible ! Damn u Poslaju ! Ary was right when she said the tagline "Dijamin Sampai Esok" was bull.
