Due to my recent weight gain, I started the RESET Vegan program. On the 3rd day, which was yesterday, I accidently took junkfood so Ary told me to restart. Today will be my first day and I will post my food intake on the next post. Chances of me updating might be next to never, because of my organization and planning skills. Haiihh..I miss this blog.;))) Ever since I know Wawa is reading, YES YOU! I keep wanting to update. ;))))) Shes so cute..lolx

What will you guys be for Halloween ? Im going to be my style icon Barbie !! Yes, thats right ! I want to be the MAC Barbie as above ! Think I need professional help or I can pull it on my own ?? ;))) However the Foam party that I am attending is foamy , and I might not be able to attend due to the clash with AAR Concert
, so I am a bit reluctant to book a MAC appointment and get a blonde wig. Think I can pull of a short brunette Barbie ?? ;)))

Tgk Budak Tu.
My motive for telling this : Parents love you in their own way people. They might not show it like other parents, but they do it in their own way. It is not the Ipod Nano, its just an Ipod anyway. Its their way of showing me they loved me without lavishly making that point. Next time your parents just bake cookies or buy a cheap cake for you, cherish the moment because thats their way of loving you. Hey, they did not throw you out or dump you anywhere when you were born right ? That means they love you the best way they knew how. Even if they did, to them it is probably the best for you, not to be with them.
Ary and I both agreed that since I gained, I will start the USANA Reset System again. ;) Wish me luck ok ;)) Back to Melaka again tomorrow, and I shall miss this blog. ;)) I need to go on a diet lah, i want to fit into my Herve Leger dress ! Opps !!;))

Of Papadom, Weight gain and Dreams.
On another note, I found my jeans a little too tight. Ary and I both agreed I gain weight, culprit might be the once too many fried chickens I had. Well, today I feel demotivated and had nasi goreng, four spoonfuls though I feel guilty throughout. I will not be having lunch or dinner I guess. I do not eat carbs, but I guess fried foods can lead to other things too. Haihh..Even my mom said I looked like I gain.Ok, I wont give up. I will continue with USANA.
I found this girl who has a blog for her dreams ! I mean, things she wanted to achieve. Cute and motivating, right ?? ;)))

Hijab.
Ive heard many versions of Hijab and its obligations. I am not the best person to comment, not wearing one myself. However, there are times when I do question my obligations and the reason for reducing religion to a piece of cloth. However, Wawa's new entry has provide a leading light to some of the questions that I, and I bet many other women have regarding Hijab. Click here to view !
P/s : If you have anything to share, do email me butterbrownie@hotmail.com. I would love to read your comments regarding why you wear your tudung.

God's Pharmacy is Amazing!
(This article has been across the Internet a dozen times, but it is worth repeating.)
It's been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish... all before making a human. God made and provided what we'd need before we were born. These foods are best and more powerful when eaten raw.

Im a Believer ! *sorry Kak Leeds ;) *
1. Vaginal bleeding, very common
2.Weight gain !
3. Mood swings ..
4. Must be disciplined to take it at the exact time every day.
Well, every drug has effects right? To be fair, birth control pills help prevent unwanted pregnancies and the side effects does not affect everyone. But truth be told, I am scared. So i googled and found that Vit. C has all the goodness I need and want :
1. Great skin
2. Immune system defence
3. Joint tissues
That brings me to another issue, which vit.C should i take ? The normal pharmacy ones will cost me about RM 40 give and take, right ? Then I found out that USANA Vit.C has amazing deals!Check :
1. 600 mg per capsule which means 1 capsule per day is enough..other 400mg can be obtained from eating
2. THE BEST OF ALL : 120 capsules for only RM 88 = 4 months of Vit. C
88 divide by 4=RM 22 . RM 22 is cheaper than any Vit.C from drug stores dahling !

I already placed my reservation with Ary alongside my next Nutrimeal.Oh Im a believer ! ;))

Been cheated.
I decided to cook the simplest recipe one can get. Tuna Soup ! Sorry I did not take pics because I was rushing to study. However mine is not that tasty. The'fishy' smell and taste of tuna is still there.
Here's the recipe and I googled the pic.
Tuna Soup
1 or two small cans of Whiskas-like tuna in springwater or oil
Tomatoes if you like -put as much as you like
Carrots-diced or sliced..put as much as you like
2 or 3 cloves of garlic , crushed
Pepper or birds eye chillies -I use birds eye chillies about 10 of them..just throw em in
1 cube of chicken stock , or you can use vegetable stock
You can also add in other veggies like corn, etc.. Anything you like
Instructions :
Put 1 or two small teaspoons of olive oil. Wait till it is hot, sauteed garlic and birds eye chillies. Wait till fragrant.
When fragrant, put in the tuna.Sauteed for a few minutes and add in the veggies.
Add in one cup of water.
Put in the chicken stock.
Let it simmer. You can also add salt if you like.
Serve by itself or with rice.
p/s: Use less oil if you are using tuna in oil.

What is a Herniated Disc ?
Herniated Disc
Many patients with back pain, leg pain, or weakness of the lower extremity muscles are diagnosed with a herniated disc. When a disc herniation occurs, the cushion that sits between the spinal vertebra is pushed outside its normal position. A herniated disc would not be a problem if it weren't for the spinal nerves that are very close to the edge of these spinal discs.
What is the spinal disc?
The spinal disc is a soft cushion that sits between each vertabrae of the spine. This spinal disc becomes more rigid with age. In a young individual, the disc is soft and elastic, but like so many other structures in the body, the disc gradually looses its elasticity and is more vulnerable to injury. In fact, even in individuals as young as 30, MRIs show evidence of disc deterioration in about 30% of people.
What happens with a 'herniated disc'?
As the spinal disc becomes less elastic, it can rupture. When the disc ruptures, a portion of the spinal disc pushes outside its normal boundary--this is called a herniated disc. When a herniated disc bulges out from between the vertebrae, the spinal nerves and spinal cord can become pinched. There is normally a little extra space around the spinal cord and spinal nerves, but if enough of the herniated disc is pushed out of place, then these structures may be compressed.
What causes symptoms of a herniated disc?
When the herniated disc ruptures and pushes out, the nerves may become pinched. A herniated disc may occur suddenly in an event such as a fall or an accident, or may occur gradually with repetitive straining of the spine. Often people who experience a herniated disc already have spinal stenosis, a problem that causes narrowing of the space around the spinal cord and spinal nerves. When a herniated disc occurs, the space for the nerves is further diminished, and irritation of the nerve results.
What are the symptoms of a herniated disc?
When the spinal cord or spinal nerves become compressed, they don't work properly. This means that abnormal signals may get passed from the compressed nerves, or signals may not get passed at all. Common symptoms of a herniated disc include:
- Electric Shock Pain
Pressure on the nerve can cause abnormal sensations, commonly experienced as electric shock pains. When the compression occurs in the cervical (neck) region, the shocks go down your arms, when the compression is in the lumbar (low back) region, the shocks go down your legs. - Tingling & Numbness
Patients often have abnormal sensations such as tingling, numbness, or pins and needles. These symptoms may be experienced in the same region as painful electric shock sensations. - Muscle Weakness
Because of the nerve irritation, signals from the brain may be interrupted causing muscle weakness. Nerve irritation can also be tested by examining reflexes. - Bowel or Bladder Problems
These symptoms are important because it may be a sign of cauda equina syndrome, a possible condition resulting from a herniated disc. This is a medical emergency, and your should see your doctor immediately if you have problems urinating, having bowel movements, or if you have numbness around your genitals.
All of these symptoms are due to the irritation of the nerve from the herniated disc. By interfering with the pathway by which signals are sent from your brain out to your extremities and back to the brain, all of these symptoms can be caused by a herniated disc pressing against the nerves.
How is the diagnosis of a herniated disc made?
Most often, your physician can make the diagnosis of a herniated disc by physical examination. By testing sensation, muscle strength, and reflexes, your physician can often establish the diagnosis of a herniated disc.
An MRI is commonly used to aid in making the diagnosis of a herniated disc. It is very important that patients understand that the MRI is only useful when used in conjunction with examination findings. It is normal for a MRI of the lumbar spine to have abnormalities, especially as people age. Patients in their 20s may begin to have signs of disc wear, and this type of wear would be expected on MRIs of patients in their 40s and 50s. This is the reason that your physician may not be concerned with some MRI findings noted by the radiologist.
Making the diagnosis of a herniated disc, and coming up with a treatment plan depends on the symptoms experienced by the patient, the physical examination findings, and the x-ray and MRI results. Only once this information is put together can a reasonable treatment plan be considered.

What about Korea ?
UN atomic chief due in Iran as pressure mounts
SIAVOSH GHAZI
October 3, 2009 - 12:49PMThe head of the UN atomic watchdog was expected to arrive in Tehran at the weekend after Washington and its allies demanded quick progress from Tehran in revived talks on the nuclear standoff.
International Atomic Energy Agency chief Mohamed ElBaradei will meet Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organisation, an Iranian official said in Geneva on Friday.
The visit will take place at the start of the Iranian week, which begins on Saturday, he added.
US President Barack Obama on Thursday demanded swift and "constructive" action from Iran following the crucial nuclear talks in Geneva on Thursday, and warned that his patience for dialogue was limited.
But Obama conceded the meeting between six world powers and Tehran, which included the highest-level direct talks between the United States and Iran in three decades, marked a "constructive" start to defusing the nuclear standoff.
The talks were the first for 15 months, and Western officials in Geneva acknowledged that it marked Iran's "engagement" on its nuclear programme after they said Iran refused to talk about it since July 2008.
France said the talks were a "step in the right direction" but added it would judge results through Iran's actions, while Russia voiced "cautious optimism" so long as the agreements were respected within the set timeframe.
Senior US officials in Geneva said part of the outcome might temper more immediate fears, especially in the Middle East, that Iran had accumulated enough enriched uranium to produce a nuclear weapon.
Iran insists it has a right to civilian nuclear energy, but the partly covert buildup of its nuclear programme in recent years, especially uranium enrichment, has fulled suspicions in the West and Israel that Tehran is hiding a nuclear weapons programme.
Iran's chief nuclear negotiator who led Tehran's delegation at the Geneva talks reiterated late Friday upon his return that enriching uranium was his country's "legal" right.
"The right of (uranium) enrichment is part of Iran's absolute right. One of the legal rights of Iran is to continue enriching activity for peaceful purpose," Saeed Jalili told reporters at Tehran airport minutes after he arrived from Geneva.
Iran agreed to cooperate "fully and immediately" on a second enrichment facility near the holy city of Qom, EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said after the Geneva talks on Thursday.
But the six powers -- Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States -- expected IAEA inspections to be allowed within two weeks, he added.
A senior US administration official said ElBaradei's visit would deal with the issue, following an outcry over Iran's belated disclosure last week of construction of the underground uranium enrichment plant.
Iran also struck a tentative agreement with the six powers to ship some of its stocks of low enriched uranium abroad for reprocessing into fuel for an internationally-supervised research reactor in Tehran.
A senior US official said in Geneva that the move was a key confidence building measure that might remove "most" of the enriched uranium that could potentially be used to make a bomb in the more immediate future.
"If Iran agrees to send most of its stockpile of LEU (low enriched uranium) to Russia to be further enriched to provide this fuel, it will reduce that source of anxiety," the official told journalists, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Experts estimated that in recent months, Iran had exceeded the amount of low energy uranium needed to produce enough higher grade uranium to make a bomb, he explained.
Iran had first approached the IAEA several months to a year ago because its fuel for the reactor would end its lifespan within a year to 18 months, according to US officials.
The arrangement was then hatched through the IAEA after it approached several of the UN Security Council powers.
Under the deal, the uranium stocks would be shipped to Russia for further enrichment and to France for reprocessing into fuel suitable for the Tehran reactor, which was supplied by the United States several decades ago.
However, the agreement is only "in principle" and the technical details need to be worked out at a meeting of the IAEA in Vienna on October 18.
- What a prejudicial decision! What about Korea ? Why is Iran always under the spotlight ? Why is Japan always verbally bombed for killing whales for Norway is kept clean eventhough they legally allow whale killing as a sport ?? WTF ?? If this is not a propaganda then I do not know what they call it.

Anyway, today I endured 3 hours of excruciating pain from sitting down for exams. I forgo painkillers because I hate the thought of taking chemicals after USANA. I already took so much unlawful chemicals prior to USANA and now that my body is in a healthy mode, I do not want to ruin it. I had dinner today. One bowl of meehoon soup, half unfinished. Thats USANA for you. OK, sorry for USANAing lately but when Im sexcited about something, I tend to talk about it nonstop. Lovekisses !
