Boiling Cauldron.

I wanted to share something with the rest of the world. Last week my mother found an ad for house rental in our apartment, and it was so cheap, Rm 2k inclusive of maintenance fee for a three bedroomed serviced apartment.My mother quickly called the owner to view and it turned out that she rented it at a cheap price due to her dwindling bank account ( business trouble) and the house, being on the 13th floor, is bad feng shui. My mother and i, however, felt in love with the views and decided it was perfect. We told her so, and that's when she showed her claws, telling us to be careful as not to damage her furniture which looks like it came from Courts of somewhere cheaper and told us not to let my nieces touched the walls for fear of ruining it. We were fuming but we exercised a HUGE control as we loved the house. Her rude antics went on for days, where she told us to get the lawyers to call her lawyers because she can't trust people and blah blah, however cancelled last minute and told us to bank in rm2k straight to her account. My father was so annoyed he refused to put up with her stupidity but my mother's love for the house and it's cheap rent won.

On the day of the moving out, my father called her to inform that our lawyer is ready to view the contract, he refused to move without any legal binding documents. The silly cow, however, sms-ed back at 11 am, telling him the husband changed his mind about renting and will let the house to their ailing uncle.THE BEST PART IS, I KID YOU NOT.I DIDN'T EVEN EXAGGERATE.After all her stupid ramblings about rental policy, she was actually a stupid bitch. She didn't even contemplate the fact that she could be sued more than her bloody arse is worth. She was lucky my father is on stress therapy and refused to take any legal actions aside from sending an 'extremely nice written but full of venom' sms. Did she think she was so mighty with her fake handbag ? It was an obvious fake too. She obviously came from a rural area and thought she was posh, with her rude ignorance and her lack of legal education too. Well, i refused to even stoop to her level and be as rude as she is. I just wanted people to know that this kind of people still exist albeit this is the year 2008. My advice, the moment the owner is rude to you, decline to rent.Saves legal fees and heartaches and other financial damages. The fact that she is paying for all the damages prolly helps saving her sorry arse from having to go to judicial proceedings. Well Mrs K, i guess you should be more careful next time. Someone might not be on stress therapy you know.

U-HU cheesecakes

I was looking for my mom's present for her bday yesterday at Pavilion and I stopped at the Loaf for a quick snack.I was called by Boolicious' post to try the cheesecakes and they were amazing ! Fluffy and soft , with just the right amount of sweetness added by the ingredients. I didnt take any photos, but i will upload should i found any. Enjoy these pictures from Boolicious and NST.Better yet, go try! It's only rm 5 per cake, rm 25 for a box of 6,45 for 2 boxes and 60 for 3. I tried Glitzy Strawberries and it was worth every penny spent!

PETISYEN: Keputusan Pilihan raya umum 2008 menyaksikan Barisan Nasional menerima kekalahan teruk. Tidak pernah dalam sejarah BN menerima kekalahan begitu besar iaitu hilang lima buah negeri dan hilang majoriti 2/3 di Parlimen. Kekalahan ini sungguhpun mempunyai 1001 sebab, namun sebab-sebab utama jelas menjurus kepada kelemahan kepimpinan dan dasar Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Seperti kata Perdana Menteri Keempat Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, “Sekiranya kemenangan besar 2004 diuar-uarkan sebagai kemenangan Abdullah, maka Abdullah juga harus bertanggungjawab dalam kekalahan ini.” Menurut kaji selidik laman web penyokong UMNO www.mykmu.net, antara punca utama kekalahan Barisan Nasional akibat secara langsung daripada Abdullah. 10 sebab utama ialah: 1. Kegagalan melaksanakan ekonomi secara makro bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tiada hala tuju jelas ekonomi negara kecuali slogan dan Dalam tempoh empat tahun kepimpinan Abdullah telah berlaku: a. Kenaikan harga petrol yang terlalu tinggi b. Kenaikan tol yang sangat drastik, c. Kenaikan kadar faedah asas (BLR), d. kenaikan kos sara hidup - elektrik, cukai pintu dan air. e. Kenaikan harga barang 2. Dasar Luar yang mengelirukan dan pro-Singapura seperti: a. Mengakui Tambak Johor sebagai hak bersama Malaysia-Singapura tanpa kira sempadan, tanpa mendapat keputusan Mahkamah Antarabangsa. b. Membatalkan pembinaan jambatan bengkok kerana ugutan Singapura c. Masih gagal menyelesaikan isu harga air mentah ke Singapura d. Gagal memimpin OIC 3. Promosi Islam Hadhari yang keterlaluan: a. Membimbangkan masyarakat bukan Islam. b. Tidak diterima oleh sebahagian besar orang Islam di Malaysia kerana dianggap mengelirukan dan memberi imej tidak baik kepada Islam sebelum munculnya istilah Hadhari ini di Malaysia. 4. Pentadbiran negara yang tunggang langgang: a. Tindakan menghantar Menteri ke negara China bagi memohon maaf atas isu ketuk ketampi bogel dalam lokap tanpa menyiasat terlebih dahulu identiti wanita terbabit. b. membenarkan "media bashing" terhadap pasukan polis, cuba mewujudkan badan pemantau polis (IPCMC) tetapi menarik balik. Moral pasukan polis amat lemah sehingga menyebabkan Polis sudah kurang berkesan dan kadar jenayah kian bertambah tanpa penyelesaian. c. Keputusan berubah-ubah dalam kes Jambatan Bengkok, Landasan Keretapi Berkembar, Jambatan Pulau Pinang Kedua menyebabkan negara kerugian berbilion ringgit d. Kenyataan-kenyataan biadap dan tidak bertanggungjawab Abdullah seperti “I dont Know, i’m not involved” dalam kes ECM Libra dan memanggil pengkritik beliau sebagai Iblis. e. Banyak menubuhkan suruhanjaya tanpa mengambil langkah sewajarnya menyebabkan suruhanjaya sendiri sudah menjadi lawak jenaka. f. Pertelingkahan dan pertikaian antara Menteri sudah menjadi lumrah sehingga kabinet menjadi bahan jenaka masyarakat umum. 5. Pentadbiran yang kurang ajar dan biadap terhadap Perdana Menteri Keempat Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad menyebabkan ramai penyokong UMNO dan rakyat Malaysia berketurunan cina tidak berpuas hati dan melalukan undi protes. 6. Isu korupsi dan kronisme yang melampau dalam kes ECM Libra, Scomi dan Myteam menyebabkan hilang kepercayaan. 7. Memecah-belahkan UMNO a. Membenarkan mereka yang dipersoal kesetiaan terhadap UMNO dan negara menguasai media yang UMNO mempunyai kepentingan telah menimbulkan keadaan tidak senang dalam UMNO. b. Menggugurkan Ketua Bahagian dalam persempadanan semula kawasan pilihan raya lalu memberi isyarat jelas Abdullah tidak menghormati hak demokrasi parti. c. Keputusan yang berbeza dalam isu politik wang antara Ahmad Zaki Zahid (Pembantu Khas Perdana Menteri) dengan Zaid Ibrahim yang menang tanpa bertanding mencerminkan penyalahgunaan Majlis Disiplin UMNO. Ahmad Zaki hanya diberi amaran kerana terbabit politik wang dalam pertandingan Ketua Pemuda UMNO Bahagian Putrajaya. Manakala Zaid Ibrahim digantung atas dakwaan politik wang sungguhpun tidak terbabit dalam sebarang pertandingan. Zaid menang tanpa bertanding Ketua UMNO Kota Bharu. d. Tidak mengendahkan persepsi umum bahawa Khairy Jamaluddin begitu berkuasa dalam UMNO dan kerajaan. Malahan tindakan membenarkan Khairy menggunakan pengaruhnya dalam pertandingan Naib Ketua Pemuda UMNO menyebabkan beliau diejek (boo) selepas diumumkan menang tanpa bertanding. Keadaan ini dikukuhkan lagi dengan pemilihan Khairy sebagai calon Parlimen Rembau. e. Tidak mengambil sebarang tindakan ke atas penyokong-penyokongnya seperti Datuk Kamarulzaman (TV3) dan Datuk Kalimullah (NSTP) menggunakan media mereka untuk menghentam pemimpin UMNO yang dilihat boleh memberi cabaran kepada Khairy Jamaluddin. f. Hanya menurunkan peruntukan dan projek kepada kontraktor kelas F setelah menghadapi kritikan keras Tun Dr. Mahathir dan khuatir akan berlaku kritikan keras dalam perhimpunan agung UMNO. Rasuah terangan-terangan dengan mengumumkan peruntukan RM 3 juta setiap bahagian sehingga menjejaskan imej UMNO. g. Kempen keterlaluan untuk mengalahkan Tun Dr. Mahathir dalam pemilihan perwakilan UMNO Kubang Pasu 2006 menyebabkan ramai ahli UMNO “berjauh hati.” h. Membiarkan Setiausaha Agung UMNO, Datuk Seri Radzi Sheikh Ahmad yang tidak dipilih secara demokrasi dalam UMNO memporak- perandakan UMNO Perlis menjelang pilihan raya umum 2008. 8. Gagal mengawal isu Hindraf sehingga menjadi begitu besar dan MIC hilang sokongan orang India. 9. Tidak mempunyai strategi yang jelas apabila menerima kekalahan dalam pilihan raya umum 2008. Kata-kata seperti itu “pilihan rakyat”, “rakyat sudah buat keputusan, kita terima” bukanlah cerminan pemimpin yang mampu bangun memimpin BN untuk menang semula. 10. Akhir sekali, wajah kepimpinan Abdullah sudah ditolak oleh kaum Cina dan India serta tidak lagi disenangi oleh sebahagian besar orang Melayu dan UMNO. Isu ini bukan isu perebutan kepimpinan atau pertukaran pemimpin, tetapi ia merupakan isu dasar dan polisi Abdullah yang ditolak rakyat. Justeru UMNO dan Barisan Nasional memerlukan kepimpinan baru bagi memberi nafas baru menjelang pilihan raya akan datang. Lebih penting, negara Malaysia memerlukan polis dan dasar baru yang lebih segar dan berwibawa bagi menjamin kemakmuran kepada rakyat. Sehubungan itu, kami sebagai ahli-ahli UMNO dibawah dengan ini memohon agar: 1. Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi meletak jawatan secara sukarela sebagai Perdana Menteri dan Presiden UMNO. ATAU 2. Sekiranya, Datuk Seri Abdullah dan Ahli Majlis Tertinggi UMNO berpendapat Presiden parti masih mendapat sokongan ahli UMNO, maka sewajarnya, satu Perhimpunan Agung Khas UMNO dipanggil dan satu undi sulit mengenai kedudukan Presiden UMNO diadakan. Tun M in the news : Video clip a distortion, says Dr M

KUALA LUMPUR: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has expressed regret at the use of a video clip that purportedly showed he admitted that he had framed Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Dr Mahathir said those who attended the talk understood the context of his speech but the Opposition took one part and distorted it.

His son, Datuk Mokhzani Mahathir, said his father explained what had actually taken place at a Barisan Nasional gathering in Shah Alam on Monday.

He said the family was aware of how the video clip had been distorted and used to mislead the public.

The video clip has been posted on Opposition websites to give the impression that Dr Mahathir had confessed to the purported trumped-up charges.

At the gathering, Dr Mahathir also refuted claims that he was sympathetic to them, saying he had never supported them.

He also denied that his former political secretary, Datuk Seri Aziz Abdul Shamsuddin, had a hand in the 1998 court case against Anwar.

Dr Mahathir reiterated that he received information from the police and then discussed it with the mentris besar and Umno supreme council members before a decision was made.

Closure.

It's a simple fact that you can't handle me, yes you can't regardless of the fact that you call yourself a player. We tried it before and it doesn't work on me so i hope that is closure enough for you and please don't call me, view my pages or have any contact whatsoever with me anymore.You scared me to the point of calling my mom, and you know i am not like that.It's been like, 7 years Mohd Alif, so kindly move on. You had some nerve calling me after you treated me and my friend that way.Once a liar, always a liar.In your case anyway.You are a rotten one too. Move on, baby move on.

On another case, when we keep pointing out fingers to others, there are four fingers pointing at us,so kindly remember that next time we decided to use our friends and then get jealous when it backfired on us and the guy we intended to impress were not impressed by us but by the ones we used. Confusing? We will not be if we are the ones this post goes out to. Stop using friends as a means to an end.

Nicole Ritchie-The Truth About Diamonds

After months of coveting, my mom finally bought me the book and i finished it yesterday. The book is not what i expected from Nicole Ritchie. No offense, and i am a big fan but she does have a reputation for not using her brain very much.Well, this is the proof that she is brain-ier than Paris Posh Hilton, and truly an interesting person with a nice sense of humor and clever take on things. She took me on a ride downtown Hollywood and the posh parties,uncovering what really is inside the Balenciaga bags and the Manolos and what matters are not the Dianne Von Furstenberg dresses, but the person wearing them. She truly made me see the true value of a diamond.
At first, the book is very slow,however it slowly takes me to an interesting path with every page i turned.The characters are all fictional, but i can't help but see a resemblance to some of Hollywood's residents and i truly understand the person underneath the Nicole Ritchie image portrayed in the Simple Life.Nicole gave readers a clue that this is a true story when she said that she can put her Vintage Dior on the main character and people will think its her.In a way, i think the main character is her alter ego and this is an indirect biography about Nicole Ritchie.

Why Malaysia ?

First and foremost, congratulations to my Uncle Mamat for winning in the election.However, i don't think his victory calls for a celebration after the shocking losses of the Government that has the nation in a rude shock.

The people have spoken, and they have voted against Barisan National.For the first time in history, Barisan have lost Penang, Kedah, Perak and Selangor in a clean sweep victory on the part of the Opposition for the present election.Though having a mixture of representatives in the Parliament gives variety to the end results, the doubt is also raised,can a mixture give stability to the present Malaysia or more conflicts and contras? Having a political instability will bring instability to the country itself,and will scare away potential investors.I agree wholeheartedly on the argument raised by MrM.However, amidst the despair that looms the airways, one can't help but wonder,WHY? Why is this happening after all these years?

One of the main reasons as to why, the President of Bernama argued,is because of the lifestyle of Barisan National representatives in which they lavishly indulged in imported luxury cars that they displayed proudly to the people,unconscious to the fact that this cause a rift between the people and the YB,while the Opposition,hardly able to do the same maintain the same lifestyle as the people making them feel the Opposition member is one of them. Another main reason could be due to the fact that corruption is widely in practice among the members of BN, and while the previous voters took this as a normal practice among politicians,the new generations which made up the majority of the voters this election took it as a blow to the credibility of BN and voted against them,causing the losses.

The Prime Minister is a fine man,religion wise,but his credibility has been long questioned with him often in the background while Khairy Jamaluddin took most of the spotlight. People feels that Khairy is the unofficial PM, and not the one they voted for.Economy has been informed to be fine, but prices are rising.More hardships,and the people feels cheated.It does not help that the Opposition raised all these issues in their manifesto and have charmed the people to vote, without a moment to ponder that fuel prices have arisen due to the world economy and not the Government.The Hindraf episode and the plan of Penang MB to step down caused a bigger blow and thus,we have the result of election.


It is suggested that if the Prime Minister does not want to step down, he will have to be in progress,instead of the Khairy ogling the mike as if he is the Voted One.BN members, take note.More of the usual practices and you will end up the Opposition instead of the current one.Show the people the real credibility of Barisan National or the party that has been ruling since Merdeka will be nothing but a name in the history books. Malays, wake up from the dreams, study hard and save money, we never know when we will be chased out from our own birthright like the people of Singapore, with nothing to prove our legacy.Long Live Malaysia, insya Allah.

Well now that i have grown, i find that he is still as cute as before, only wiser and if possible, sexier. This is what i always believe, let justice prevails though the heavens fall and islam is in the heart, not in the party.

Seri Medan constituency voters, if you are reading this, do vote for Ahmad Zahari Jamil, a kind hearted,humble and dedicated servant of the people, and a good uncle.I believe his portfolio speaks for itself.I assure everyone this does not have anything to do with a gain in duit raya for next year.
