Profanity.
Ive been thinking of an event that happened while I was shopping for my brother’s shirt before raya. A large family entered the premise, and started browsing the racks. From my observation, they are looking for the youngest boy’s raya gear. They finally found a set and called the assistant. The boy tried and all was settled, until the price was announced. Apparently the parents misunderstood that the price tag only indicates the shirt, and not the whole set of jeans and shirt. They had to leave the garment and the little boy, so happy a moment ago, turned sullen. He however, was matured beyond his age and simply followed his family and left the store, without a word or tantrum. I watched this drama and felt a sudden tugging at the heart. I don’t ridicule the family, and I don’t blame them . Guess is sometimes too much, and for the price they charge for a shirt at Guess Kids, I can get a set of jeans and shirt elsewhere. No offense, but the family looked like they are not used to the reputation of Guess in overcharging items. I present my purchases on Raya Eve and I relate the story to my little brother. I told him of his luck in being able to own items such as those I bought, while others might not be so fortunate. I told him to appreciate what I bought, and not to complain. Sometimes we take things that we have for granted way too often. The predicament of the young boy has taught me a lesson, to be thankful for what I have. In a time like this, I guess I should be thankful to be fortunate to learn his courage and maturity in understanding the facts of life at such tender age.
p/s: To the little boy, I know you will be a successful man one day. Most people in your situation often do. I hope you get all the Guess items you wanted someday. Amin.

Indulging
in a new obsession, Kissing Cat ! Their bags are so cute, a cross between the famous Lulu Guiness and Anya Hindmarch's Be A Bag!! The bags are designed by a Thai designer in Bangkok and shipped here as part of a deal between the owners and the designer. The best part is, they are ranging from Rm 89 onwards ! I just can't resist these beauties, but because i'm broke, i settled for a large tote and with regrets and promises and mental notes on next purchases, i exited to watch Beowulf. Next weekend will prolly find me here, resisting more purchases. Huh~
The shop is located at the floor of Watson's Cineleisure, after three stores, i think.
Aside from that tote, i spotted the peppermint recommended by Kak Eza and grabbed it at the counter. Mine says cute, with a small hand carry . Good representation?? Huhuhu. How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good, ill say.

p/s: Not showing off, just promoting the shop. *wink*

Yoga And Cancer
![]()
Yoga helps us listen, support and give our body comfort. The body and mind find balance and harmony to create a sense of wellbeing. Yoga relieves some of the effects of chronic stress and as a result may strengthen the immune system. Physical strength and stamina may improve and ordinary aches and pains may be lessened. It may help to calm the mind and allow for a more peaceful sleep.
Our instructor, Bryonie Quantrill, will conduct weekly classes on Mondays at 11.30am. Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a small blanket and a pillow.

A trip to recovery
![]()
The National Cancer Society of Malaysia has officially launched its Resource and Wellness Centre in Kuala Lumpur on 31 March 2003. The Centre aims to provide a relaxed and friendly environment and offers a holistic approach to the care of cancer patients.
Why the need?
Support and information are essential guiding tools for a person when diagnosed with cancer. Our mission is to enable individuals to empower themselves through learning wellness and life affirming strategies, as well as providing user friendly information about mainstream medicine, complementary treatments and new developments in cancer.
Services on offer:
The following is a brief description of some of the services we have established:
- Support Groups:
Research indicates the great healing benefits of support groups in assisting people through life crises.
- Self Help and Healing Services:
Many complementary therapies can be used to manage stress and pain. We have a specially designed therapy room and qualified professionals to conduct treatments including massage, meditation and exercise classes.
- Nutrition Review Service:
While no particular diet is guaranteed to prevent cancer, being better informed about the foods we eat can lead to healthier eating habits. At the centre we will have trained dietitians who will help patients manage their diets whilst undergoing treatment.
- Counselling:
The counselling service aims to provide assistance to those confronted with a cancer diagnosis. Trained counselors will be on hand to help identify strategies to deal with feelings of fear and confusion and related conflicts or problems in a supportive and confidential environment.
The Centre is a "drop-in" center. Feel free to relax and browse through our resources or talk to any of our staff.

All That Goodies !
After the girly dose, my brother fetched me and we went to the Curve to chill and inject me with a dose of maleness. Being silly, i repeatedly told him that it's extremely boring to chill together, just the two of us. It got me awhile to calm his irritated self and after some chilling out, we went to Andalas Corner for a plate of nasi lemak for me. It was superb however once again Nadia the Party Pooper emerged by accidently mixing the time for KTM's last train and the angry sibling had to drive all the way to Kl to send me safe and sound. He wasn't in his best humor, not with a throbbing back and the mess i made in his pristine car. Nevertheless, he is my abg ngah and he knows me well enough to know im such a dunderhead, so he calmed in a bit. That doesn't stop him from having the fun of bullying me though !I think words do no justice especially since i'm tired from the bus ride so enjoy the enclosed pictures !

Bitchslap !
Positive thinking is a good thing. I know from experiences. I choose to find beauty in every breakdown. Positive thinking got me through family troubles, school, college, breast tumor, and recent breakups and soon fibroid tumor. I stand firm with my decision not to cry, in public at least. If anyone feel like doing the PDS, be my guest. I will not experience any major changes in life should you want to cry.I don't even know you.I wrote that entry based on my thought, and what i will tell a friend with an ott PDS. For me, showing your weakness leave you vulnerable and easy to defeat. I do not want to be the loser crying over my ex, when he is happily in embrace with another hot chick, making out. I value my pride that much, thank you. Of course, it is normal to feel sad, but i do it behind close doors, in front of friends, when no stranger is there. No one will know my weakness then. I even befriended my ex. You will see us happy chatting, though my insides are gnawing. He doesn't know i have a blog, neither do his friends. I can even write here and i will still be the strong one. If anyone choose to beg to exes, it is their choice to make, and they will live with it. Extremely unfair to pour frustrations at me when i have the courage and you don't. The choice is yours, and yours alone. I made mine and i'm happy, i do not play any part in yours. After all, my way prompted him to proclaim i am the best gf he ever had, even after we broke up.The best way to be remembered by your ex or what ??
p/s: Love your enemies. They will perish.I love my haters. At least i know i have fans, even psychos !
Not a Sob Entry.

Celebrations
Taking pictures in the toilet at home to show off new clothes on Fs,Ms or Facebook. This is the norm now.
Having yamcha on raya eve at kopitiams nationwide instead of cooking rendangwith other family members. Gossiping included. Coffee-licious !

Hye Furby !!
Whichever way you celebrate it, Hari Raya is all about celebrating our victory during the fasting period and it is a celebration that should be done in moderation. Remember the less fortunate, and we will achieve the true Hari Raya. Selamat Hari Raya, a tad too late but nevertheless done.Lovekisses.
